An update on the Reforest the Tropics program

Our guest speakers on July 28th were Dr. Herster Barres, Desiree Derix and Greg Powell, The newly appointed Executive Director of RTT. They gave us an updated on the Reforest the Tropics P:rogram and how Westerly is incorporating the program in the schools. 

We recently received confirmation that we received a matching District Grant in the amount of 1500.00 to support the program for 2014-15. Our thanks to Rotarians Rose Russo & Dan Alvino for preparing a great proposal.
