Christmas for RICAN

 On Friday evening, December 9, 2011, the Club hosted a pot-luck dinner to benefit Rhode island Center Assisting Those in Need.  Attended by RICAN's volunteers and Westerly Rotary members and guests, with help provided by a few members of the Westerly High School Football team, the event garnered approximately $2300 in gift cards, toys, checks and cash for RICAN and its clients.  The various Italian dishes, sandwiches and desserts were plentiful  -  so much that at the end of the evening a delivery of food was made to the WARM Shelter's kitchen. 

 We thank everyone who attended, participated and donated.  Special thanks to Executive Director Deborah Nigrelli for sharing RICAN's new video.  Our grateful thanks for the raffle items donated by the following great local organizations:
