Despite the cloudy skies, the parade began with Tony the Dancing Cop to start it off, followed by Columbus Day Parade Committee President (and Honorary Westerly Rotarian) Joseph Potter followed by the Grand Marshals Jean and Doug Rayner.  They were followed by a few hearty members of the Chorus of Westerly.  In all there were ten divisions which included town and state officials; Westerly High School Band, Honor Society students and Athletic Teams; Stonington High School Band and Athletic Teams; Fire and Police District from both towns; War Veterans; Kentish Guard Fife and Drum; Mystic Aquarium and
