On January 29, we were honored to have Mr. Makin join us for our weekly meeting. He had sent his customers a very special Christmas letter which touched us to our core. Mr. Makin has been a major supporter of our Golf Tournaments since the very first one and he has supported many other community charitable organizations. He was honored as "Citizen of the Year" by the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce in 2018. He was awarded the honor of becoming a member of Barron's Hall of Fame. Mr. Makin founded the Professional Planning Group in 1975 and affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services in 1989. "He and his team at PPG provide a diverse range of comprehensive wealth management services to individuals, families, businesses, foundations and endowments." He is truly an amazing man and certainly has the Rotary spirit in all that he does.
