Joseph Brodeur. An article published in RI Catholic recently focused on Westerly High School first year Interacter and Student of the Month Joseph Brodeur.  Working toward his Eagle Scout title, Joe took on the project to install a statue of Pope St Pius X in front of the Church Rectory.  With the help of parishioners, family and Boy Scouts, the project included a brick walkway, removal of the tree trunk remains still in the ground and installation of the five foot statue.  Dedication took place in May.  Joe will enter Our Lady of Providence Seminary in August.

There were two articles in 7 August 2016 Westerly Sun newspaper that highlighted former Westerly High School graduates who were also very special to our Club.
Isaac Kaufman, WHS 2016 Graduate, is a member of the first WHS Interact Club class and was our November Student of the Month.  As a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, he participated in their National Leadership Conference and placed 7th in the computer problem-solving category, "competing against dozens of others from across the country, Puerto Rico, China, Canada, and other countries".  His computer services company is Next Tech Solutions LLC.
Ryan Quattromani, WHS 2013 Graduate, was a 2012 Rotary Youth Leader participant.  Ryan is currently a "Junior at Manhattan College majoring in mechanical engineering" but he has also recently established Seaworthy - a nautical inspired lifestyle company - the first collection "comprises seersucker baseball-style hats" with names and colors expressive of the Westerly area.  See his website - www.seaworthyri.com.
