Scholarship/Charitable Fundraiser Dinner

At The Cooked Goose on 92 Watch Hill Road, Westerly  -  Cocktails 6:00, Dinner 7:00  -  $25.00 per person

 

During Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, browse through many silent and live auction items or participate in wine-tasting hosted by The Wine Store.  The proceeds of this event support the Club's scholarship and charitable programs.  We have provided one or two scholarships annually to graduating seniors residing in Westerly.

 

We have provided financial assistance to local organizations including WARM Shelter, Supper Table, Pee Wee Football, Girl Scout Camp, Chorus of Westerly, Future Business Leaders of Westerly High School, YMCA Capital Campaign.  We are most especially proud of our support to bring the Reforest the Tropics, a non profit organization, to Westerly Middle School during the past four years.  This Educational program focuses on the environment and the importance of trees.

 

Internationally, we have supported the Haitian Health Foundation, Safe Passage Vocational School in Guatemala, Jaltemba Bay villages of Mexico school projects, Rotary's Polio Plus and other Foundation programs.
