Note from President Cal

Hello all,

I am asking you to really try to make our meeting next Monday, April 1st.  I know this is a busy weekend for everyone with family time and Easter Services but we need to talk about the future.  I am sending along a survey for you to fill out.  You can bring it with you or email it back to me......  The more of them I get back ahead of time, the more I can share with the club at our meeting.

As we make plans for next year, the Board will need your input on everything from the way meetings are run, to meeting times, to the fundraising events we hold.  Our club can only be successful if everyone takes ownership of our plan for the future.  Now is the time to speak up.

The Board will be meeting at 4:00pm. and will have some preliminary discussions on the future.  Our whole club meeting will be dedicated to this topic.  You will have a chance to talk about what is good about our club and discuss what we can do to make it better.

As for last Monday, we had a good give and take with our guest speaker, Liz Pasqualini.  She shared what has been happening at the Jonnycake Center and let us in on the Basic Needs Network to address transportation needs of residents in the area.

We heard from Clark and others that Doug Rayner's surgery went well and we said a prayer for him as we closed our meeting.

Thanks for all you do for our community at work and through Rotary.  I hope to see you all on Monday.

Be blessed. Cal

A Special Thank You to Bob Elmer

The "baby" bibs that we have worn in the past are a "thing of the past" thanks to the generosity of Past President Bob Elmer who has donated REAL aprons to our Club.
