September
Jacob Serra represents the exemplary spirit of Rotary, a natural born leader.  He has been involved in school sports and other activities and holds a part-time job.  Jacob is President of the National Honor Society.  His goal is Pre-Med and is still in the process of applying to colleges.
 
October
Sienna Fusaro was described as a person who would make a difference, is talented, scholarly and kind.  She is an honor roll student and involved in many activities.  Sienna has over 67 hours in community service.
 
November
Brandon Tallardy has completed over 145 hours of community service while maintaining academic honors and participating in cross country, indoor track, lacrosse and WHS Stage Dogs.  He plans on attending the University of Rhode Island.
 
December
Maxwell Palmer was introduced as another outstanding student - a successful percussionist, honor student - as won numerous awards.  He is a member of the WHS Marching Band, WHS Symphonic Band, WHS Jazz Band, WHS Chorus, 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps, All-Eastern Mixed Chorus, All-State Mixed Chorus and Chorus of Westerly.
 
January
Chiara Andrews was recently awarded the Rhode Island Foreign Language Student of the Year Award.  While maintaining academic honors she has also accomplished Italian, Spanish and French languages and received awards for each in National Exams.  She plans on attending University of New Hampshire majoring in linguistics.
 
February
Brandon Tallardy has completed over 145 hours of community service, while maintaining academic honors and participating in cross country, indoor track and lacrosse.  He was also a member of the WHS Stage Dogs and starred in "Mousetrap".  Brandon plans to attend the University of Rhode Island and major in the Theatre Program in acting and directing.
 
March
Madison Power is an Honors student, varsity athlete, with over 30 hours in volunteering at Jonnycake Center, Dog Adoption Day, Walk to End Alzheimer's and the Westerly Ambulance Corps.  She also lead the student tutoring program.  Madison plans to attend Suffolk University in the Pre-Med program.
 
April
Alexandra Nelson is an Honors student whose volunteer work included St. Andrew Lutheran Church Summer Camp, Dunns Corners Fire Department, Westerly High School campus cleanup and Spanish tutor.  Alex has earned many awards and plans to attend the College of William and Mary.
 
May
Greg Gorman has been an outstanding athlete playing both football and baseball.  He plans to attend Bryant University.
