Class President -Sophomore, Junior and Senior years, Football Team Captain - all 4 years, Logistics Co-Chair for American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Volunteer at Westerly Library Book Fair, Middle School project, Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center and PeeWee Football. Planned to attend Plymouth State University.

Nicole Gingerella, $1,000
National and Rhode Island Honor Society member during Junior and senior years, Nicole was also a member of the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams, pep club and best buddies participant. She has volunteered at Westerly Adult Day Center and Westerly Health Center as well as having a part-time job at Dunns Corner Market. Nicole is planning on attending University of Rhode Island.
Tiffany McClay, $1,000
An honor student through her high school years, Tiffany participated in several school activities, such as hosting games at a local elementary school. as well as volunteering to the Annual International Coastal Cleanup project to collect trash and other debris from our local beaches. She plans on attending University of Rhode Island.
2012
Jena Piccolo, $1,000
Jena was an honor student and participated in volleyball, basketball and softball through her high school career and was Captain of her teams as a Senior in all three sports. Her high school activities also included Student Council, Character Education, Best Buddies and was a Freshman Mentor in her Senior year. Her community service activities included Vacation Bible School, Beach Cleanup, Summer Pops, Basketball and Volleyball Camp, Relay for Life. She was a Prudential Spirit of the Community Honoree in 2008 and Westerly Rotary Student of the Month. She has worked part-time at Langworthy Bed & Breakfast and the Town of Westerly Playground Camp. Jena plans on attending the University of Rhode Island.
Kevin Conway, $1,000
An honor student, Kevin participated in track and field, football, basketball as well as men's select vocal group, choir, jazz band and WHS's Theatre Scrapbook Company. For his community service, Kevin was a volunteer assistant track coach, helped with Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot and helped with set construction for production of Sweeney Todd. He achieved All American in track and field and was a Westerly Rotary Student of the Month. He has worked at Dusty's Ice Cream, Amanda's Pantry and Atlantic Beach Park. Kevin plans on attending the University of Mississippi and hopes to become a Personal Trainer/Strength Coach.
2013
Jordan Rosetta, $2,000
A member of the Rhode Island and National Honor Societies, Jordan was also a member of the varsity basketball and golf teams. For his community service throughout his high school career, he volunteered at the Westerly Apple School, the Westerly Senior Center, the Columbus Day Parade, the Substance Abuse Task Force, Beach Clean up, and coaching youth basketball. He also participated in peer tutoring, character education and the Best Buddies program. Jordan was accepted in the Pharmacy program at both the University of Rhode Island and St. John's University.
Andrew Iacoi, $2,000
Despite reading and writing disabilities of his early childhood, Andrew was an honors student throughout his high school career. His passion for running led him to participate in indoor, outdoor and cross country track teams during his four years, serving as Captains of the teams. For his community service, he has served as a Freshmen Mentor, Middle School peer coach, Catholic Youth Group at St Pius X, leader in the Varsity Athletes Against Substance Abuse and character education. Andrew plans to continue running track and to study sports biology at Springfield College.
2014
Angela Chen, $2,000
Member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and Student Government, Angela put in many hours of community service as part of the Character Ed program. Currently, Angela is attending Boston University and is studying psychology and is a pre-Med student.
Micaela O'Donnell, $2,000
An Honor Roll student during Junior and Senior years and earned a RI Teacher Assistant Training Program Certificate, Micaela put in many hours of community service. She is currently attending the University of Rhode Island and is studying Kinesiology.
2015
Taylor Day, $2,000
An honor student, Taylor was also a Rotary Student of the Month. She is currently attending Eastern Connecticut State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education.
Patrick Johns, $2,000
A member of both the Rhode Island and National Honor Societies, Patrick was active in sports and put in many hours of community service. Patrick is currently fulfilling his basic training in the Rhode Island National Guard and will attend the University of Rhode Island.
