Additional "dirty coin" was all cleaned up and deposited - $3.20 in US coin.  There was quite a few foreign coins from this collection and past collections - packaged them up and sent them to UNICEF.
The accounting firm of Hoyt, Filippetti and Malaghan will be conducting our 2017/2018 Review.  The engagement letter was signed by Kathryn and forwarded with our documents to Elise vonHousen.
Madam President Kathryn, her daughter Lauren, Bob Elmer and Rose worked at Rotary Park today.  Doug and Chris stopped by to check on our progress.  We planted 4 trees/shrubs (two Rose of Sharon, one Spirea and one Viburnum) - all are bird or bee loving and we hope to plant the Peace Pole where these trees reside.  Bob polished up the sign while Kathryn worked on removing the  crabgrass that invaded the space under the sign.  Finished up the job by spreading a nice thick bed of mulch.  The tree planting was part of last Rotary year's commitment to plant one tree.
