Rotary Club of the Stoningtons will be sponsoring a Charity Disc Golf Tournament from 9am - 5pm.
All proceeds will be used to purchase computers for the newly built Chikumbuso Library as well as food distribution for the many families in need during this pandemic. Concert by Luke & Mike from 4 to 6 for $20 per ticket.
Ben & Jerry's will donate ice cream; Pizza baked in wood-fired oven for sale

This event, sponsored by Rotary Club of the Stoningtons, "is supporting a community that is threatened by Covid on two fronts. First, it threatens our Ng'ombe community, raising food pries and community wide hunger, increasing health risks to our children and widows, and throwing a wrench in our student's access to education. As a community we have had to supplement our education program with telephones, data plans, and text books due to the closure of schools. Secondly, it has challenged our fundraising and community building here in the US. This benefit concert is Luke and Mike's generous response to a community needing help." (from Linda Wilkinson)
