This past Monday evening we were blown away by the passion of Kevin, Vanessa and Jacob when it comes to music and their new 501(c)(3) organization. It is about "empowering aspiring music professionals through education, mentorship and performance, building an inclusive culture and pathway to thrive in the industry." Kevin and Vanessa shared their history and how they came together for this project collaborating and supporting young performers. One project they developed - Next Up Recording - allowed young musicians to learn about music licensing, recording, communication. Jacob mentioned how difficult the industry is to get into and how the United Theatre Music School experience has been incredible. Coming up is the 6 September 2025 Festival in Wilcox Park.
