Our November Student of the Month is Dylan Benware. He is an honor student who has served as Senior Mentor at Dunn's Corners Elementary, WHS Bulldog at community events, Master of Ceremonies at the Pep Rally 2022, intern at Ocean House. Asst Principal Donna Sweet called him an "old Soul" of pure heart and a person who makes school a better place. Dylan plans to attend CCRI for first two years and then transfer to URI with major in Business.
Our December Student of the Month is Sophia Martino. She has earned High Honors with Distinction amount many other Academic Awards. Sophia has served as a freshman mentor, student council and character education member, captain of varsity swim team, varsity Athletes Against Substance Abuse President. Asst Principal Donna Sweet declared that the 2022 Student Council Blood Drive 2022 event, coordinated by Sophia, was the most successful ever. She said, "if we want to get something done, call Sophia". She has been a Surf Instructor with All Abilities Surf Camp where surf instructors, emergency personnel and lifeguards all come together to teach children with disabilities how to surf.
