Since 2011 The Rotary Club of Westerly has recognized 112 Westerly High School students for their academic and sports achievements and especially their excellence in serving their community.  So we begin this school year with Principal Moulin's picks for September and October:  
September  
Kaizhen Lei, picture above with his loving sisters, was selected to be our September Student of the Month.  
He has the distinction of being in the top 15,000 National Merit Scholars, has a 4.0 gpa, is in Marching and All Star Bands playing Souzaphone, plays soccer, participated in several school projects, volunteers at Pantry on the Lane and Summer Pops, hopes to attend Cornell University in Chemical Engineering.
 
October
Brady Gilman, pictured above with President Suzanne and Principal Moulin, was selected for October. 
He currently has a 4.35gpa, is active in several school clubs, is a member of the National Honor Society, mentors at Westerly Middle School, is learning Korean, works at McQuade's and Dunns Corner Markets.  Brady hopes to attend the URI in Business.
