        19 November 2018  - 6:00pm  -  Venice Restaurant

A night that the Rotary Clubs of Stonington and Westerly celebrate each year, alternating as hosts.  The two clubs join together and invite the coaches and team captains from each school for an evening of good food, reminiscing on games past, and anticipating the outcome of the 107th Thanksgiving morning football game.  Yes, the two neighboring interstate town schools have been playing against each other on Thanksgiving morning since 1911.  It is believed to be the longest consecutive Thanksgiving Day rivalry in the country.   The Bricks and Murals event last year created the motto "two towns, two states but one community" - add in "two teams" and it completes this unique relationship.  If you are an alumnus of either school, we welcome you to join us - you might have your own story to tell that evening!!!

We are delighted to announce the ABC6 Sportscaster Ken Bell will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.

Be sure to let Rose know by November 14th if you will be attending  -  ra.russo@cox.net
