October Student, selected by Principal Hobin and staff, is Nora Brennan.  Nora is a Senior with many Academic honors, including "Excellence in Criminal Justice II Award".  Her extracurricular activities include Class Treasurer 2/3/4, School Improvement Team Representative and Chair, Student Council, Math Team, Drama Club, Girls State and several more.  Nora has logged over 200 community service hours as a counselor for Mystic Seaport Camp, Danceline, 2019 and 2020 Westerly High School graduations, Student Council events, Freshman mentors, St. Marie's Supper Table, Colonial Theatre.  And, in the summer she worked at Two Little Fish Seafood Restaurant.  She is considering Boston College and other schools and is seriously considering a career in Criminal Justice.
 
November Student, selected by Principal Hobin and staff, is Madison O'Neil.  Madison is a Senior with High Honors with Distinction -all four years, including the Rhode Island Secretary of State Civic Leadership Award 2020.  She is on the Soccer, Indoor Track & Field, Outdoor Track & Field teams, Math Team, International Club, Film Club, School Improvement Team Secretary.  Madison has logged over 190 community service hours as a counselor at St Andrew Lutheran Church Summer Program, Columbus Day Parade, 2019 Westerly High School graduation, Student Council events, Server at St Clare's The Dinner Table.  Madison also worked at Two Little Fish Seafood Restaurant during summer.  She is hoping to join the military and has applied to West Point.
 
Principal Hobin said that both young women are all around amazing students and great ambassadors for the school.  And, we are certain that they will be successful at whatever they choose to do.
