President Ted with Madison Power, Alexandra Nelson and Mr. Cronin. We were delighted to meet Monday evening at Westerly High School's Highland Grille to celebrate our March, April and May Students of the Month. It was unfortunate that Greg Gorman, our May student, couldn't join us because he had a baseball game to play. We are especially grateful for the generous support of Nigrelli's Jewelry through the donation of all the plaques. Mr. Cronin shared the following highlights of our special students:
March - Madison Power is an Honor student, varsity athlete, with over 30 hours in volunteering at Jonnycake Center, Dog Adoption Day, Walk to End Alzheimer's and the Westerly Ambulance Corps. She also lead the student tutoring program. Madison will attend Suffolk University in the Pre-Med program.
April - Alexandra Nelson is also an Honor student whose volunteer work included St Andrew Lutheran Church summer camp, Dunns Corners Fire Department, Westerly High School campus cleanup and Spanish tutor. Alex has earned various awards and plans to attend the College of William and Mary.
May - Greg Gorman will be attending Bryant University in the Fall. He is an athlete and currently playing on WHS's baseball team.
