The Veterans Memorial, erected in 1937, on Granite Street will soon have three solid granite benches to protect the memorial from possible vehicle damage. Anyone wishing to donate to the project should mail a check to Westerly Veterans Memorial Committee, c/o Ed Liguori, 33 Ann Street, Westerly RI 02891. Our very own Walter Kimball is vice chairman of the Veterans Committee.
