Monday evening the membership was expecting Joe Vacca to speak to us. Instead we had the pleasure of Board member and Coach Sean Donohue as our guest speaker. Sean has been a coach with the 9 and 10 year old boys - and one girl - for a few years now. He is a fourth generation Stonington High School football player. He said that many of the safety protocols and rules have changed, such as no "blind" tackling or head contact. The helmets have been updated and are tested annually at end of season. Coaches have to be certified. He also said that an EMT volunteer is on hand at games and practices.

Steve Cofone enlisted his help to bring some of his Stonington High School alum family to the annual Rotary Stonington-Westerly Football Night November 19th.
