26 November - Guest Speaker will be Roberta Mudge Humble of the Westerly Armory.  See "Stories" section to read a little about the expected presentation.  And, this is another great evening to bring a guest.

                                                                       NOTES

Unfortunately, Vicki Anderson of the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center had a calendar glitch Monday evening.  Clark has rescheduled her visit to the Club to 11 February 2013.

Jonnycake Pasta Dinner Chair Dan Alvino spoke about last week's event.  He said that an event's success can't only be determined by the funds achieved but should also include the participation of those involved.  Dan was very proud of our Club for our participation and the spirit of cooperation of all three Clubs despite the poor turnout due to the inclement weather.  Thirteen Rotarians were present and quite a few Elks and Lions.  The final count will be announced upon receipt of the Lions' funds.

President Cal announced a challenge to Rotarians  -  from now to July 1st, the first person to bring in the most new members will receive 250 points from his account for PHF use.

Last Saturday evening, President Cal, Dan and Florence Alvino attended the WARM Shelter's Celebration of Jean Barry's thirty years of service.  Dan said that it was a wonderful evening and new Executive Director Russ Partridge announced that the new building will be named the Jean Barry Center.  Our Board has also selected Jean as our Rotary person of the year.
